What to Expect:
Technical Instruction: Our experienced instructors will teach you the fundamental techniques of BJJ, including sweeps, escapes, and submissions like joint locks and strangles.
Rolling: BJJ classes typically include live sparring sessions, commonly referred to as “rolling.” This allows you to practice techniques in a controlled, safe environment.
Positional Drills: You’ll work on positional drills to improve your control and transitions on the ground.
Self-Defense Applications: Learn how to defend yourself effectively in ground-based confrontations, emphasizing practical techniques for real-world situations.
Gi and No-Gi Training: We offer both gi (traditional BJJ uniform) and no-gi classes, catering to different preferences and styles of training.

Attire and Gear:

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
class time
If it’s your first time, come 15 minutes prior the class. There will be an induction session.
BJJ Gi
For the classes with Gi you must wear a GI
snack before exercise
We recommend a light carbohydrate snack so that you are full of energy.
bring water
Bring a bottle with you, you’ll be able to refill it in our changing rooms.
Shower Essentials
No one wants to get sweaty after a workout so bring clothes to shower.
No gi
For the classes with NO Gi you must wear a proper shorts, rash guard, and bring a towel.
